New Transport Section Leader
We hope you like the new website, Care would like your active support in one or more of the following ways:
* please add the address to your 'favourites' if you are an internet user;
* if friends ask you about Care, tell them about the website;
* if you are a Church representative please encourage your Church to provide alink from their website;
* if you are active in other community groups, please consider if alink from their website might be useful.
As volunteers, if there is any further information that you would find useful to have on the website please let us know.
Care is always looking at ways to improve our communication and would like to start to use e-mail more to keep you informed of our activities. If you are interested please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org just saying "yes".
Our Treasurer, Mike Moss, would be grateful if you could let him have the money in your boxes (a cheque may be sent to him at "Woodstock", Boyn Hill Avenue, Maidenhead) and also any expense claim forms by the middle of December to enable him to complete the end of year accounts. Many thanks.
The Christmas "Get-Together" this year will be on Thursday, 7th December 2017, at St. Peter's Church.

Stan Webb has been appointed Transport Section Leader as Colin Jackson is moving away from the area. Stan will be the contact for issuing of Blue Badges to drivers and will work with duty officers to consider the requirements of new clients or unusual trips. As part of his role he will endeavor to keep up to date on any parking problems or road diversions which could affect journey times.
